Daylight Book Release + IMPORTANT Blog Update

Hey, y'all!! Today's post is gonna be a short one (mainly 'cause I was busy, procrastinated, what have you and just wrote this yesterday), but I'll make up for it next week! 😉 Either way, DON'T GO AWAY because I have some SUPER important news!!! First off, the lovely authoress Grace A. Johnson (you can find her blog HERE) is releasing a 9/11 short story called Daylight in honor of the 20th anniversary of...well, 9/11.

So mark your calendars for September 11, 2021 for the release of this brand new exciting short story!

Secondly, for some...not-so-epic-news, as I said, my next post will hopefully be next week, but if you're subscribed to my blog you won't be getting an email notification since the Blogger subscription platform, Feedburner, is changing. I'm looking for some other options on how to send email notifications out (and hopefully I'll find one soon) but for now, if I don't find one before next week, you'll just have to check back on Monday to read my next post. 😉

Tally-ho!

Are you interested in this short story? Have you read any of Grace A. Johnson's works or other books featuring 9/11? Do you have any subscription feed platform recommendations? Let me know in the comments below! (Ooh, that rhymed...) XD

  1. EEEE I AM SO EXCITED FOR DAYLIGHT'S RELEASEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES!! I have read other books by Grace. Grace Johnson's like one of my bestest friends ever, sooo, it'd be wrong if I hadn't. XD I've read Six O'Clock by her (HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend) and I'm almost done with her novel, Held Captive. And then I plan to read its sequel and all that good stuff. Have you read anything by her? Hmmm subscription feed platform recommendations?? Well, I know of Mailchimp and Mailerlite but I've never used them so I don't know if they're any good. I just use the wp stuff (WordPress). (Lol, and I loved your ryhme. XD)

I've heard of Mailchimp before but I've never heard of Mailerlite so I'll definitely have to look into that! Haha, yeah, I guess that's one of the pluses of having a wp blog nowadays... 5. Have you looked into Mailchimp for your blog emails? That's what I use. It's super easy to set up, and works really well! (I send my notifications out personally, but I think there is a way to automate it as well).

    1. My dad and I were actually looking into that one for the first time last night! We had kinda been avoiding it earlier ('cause we thought it cost money) but then we realized it has a free thing you can use, so I think Mailchimp is the route will end up going! Ooooh, that's great to know!!! I haven't heard a whole lot from people who use it, so I'm glad to hear it works really well! (Be prepared...now if I have any questions about it, you'll be the person I ask!) ;)
