Hey hey everybody!! Welcome back, grab a seat and get comfy because today I will be sharing some extremely exciting news! But before we jump into that, I'll go ahead and give you the more in-depth update about my return to blogging that I promised in my last post. 😉      Soooo, the big question is... what happened to Victoria that made her drop off the face of the blogosphere at the start of the year? In all honesty, there are many answers to that and I won't be sharing all of them because of #personalstuff. BUT the main answer   I will give is that I started my very. last. semester. of high school!! Not only that but I've also officially graduated!!! Finishing high school and preparing for graduation took up a lot more time than I expected, and I knew I had to prioritize those things to end my high school years on a high note. That said, will I now be returning with a more consistent posting schedule? Weeeell, that depends.     ...

*waves awkwardly* Heeeeeey, everyone. Yeah it's me. The ole gal who hasn't posted, like, at all this month. *coughs* That's TOTALLY on me by the way.           Well...and life being busy.        Including me trying to get a lot written in  Before the Flames during November.            Which is mostly going like this:     Okay, okay, maybe not that terribly. I mean, it's not going as well as I would've dreamed it to, but realistically it's going better than I had originally thought. So yeeaaaah. But more on that in the Know the Novel Part 2 post (which you can expect to see before the month is up)! I'm also gonna try to get another post in before December (one in which I can catch up on some tags I'm behind on hehehe ) but I'm noooot completely 100% certain if it'll be ready in time ('cause Y'ALL THERE'S ONLY LESS THAN TWO WEEKS LEFT IN NOVEMBER 😳😳😳) so we'll seeee!!!...

Three Thoughts From "I Still Believe" That Everyone Needs To Know

Image
Hello, friends! It's been a while since I've done a faith post, so I thought I'd share some thoughts inspired by the one and only movie I Still Believe ! Image Credit:  IMDb     My sisters and I first saw I Still Believe with some friends in the movie theater last year (right before everything shut down *coughs*) but wasn't able to reflect on the messages from the movie afterwards because I was still in an emotional wreck from trying not to start bawling in the middle of the theater. (Seriously, I would not recommend watching a sad movie in public if you don't want to deal with the struggle of keeping your tears in check. It's torture, lemme tell ya.)      Anyway, a couple weeks ago my parents went out one evening and left the house fatefully in the hands of my sisters and me. Thankfully, we didn't burn our lil' homestead to the ground while they were gone 'cause we decided to occupy ourselves with re watching I Still Believe . (Why we ...

Time is Precious—So Make the Best of It

I...don't really know who Harvey Mackay is. I googled him and apparently he's this businessman/columnist/author person, but the thing that stuck out to me about him the most was this quote he said on his Facebook page several years ago. (You can read it above.) 😉The reason why this quote impacted me so much was because it's true. Time really is precious and once it's lost you can't ever get it back again.        I feel like in today's culture, many of us (including myself) waste time and don't use it for God. Instead, we often think about what we have to do in this amount of time, by that hour, or before those deadlines. And this isn't completely a bad thing. It's life and God gave us things to do to live out the time we have on this earth. (Or else, the word "boring" would get a whole new definition!) 😉However, it does become a bad thing when we get so caught up in our schedules and push God out of our lives, not finding enough t...
