Hey, y'all!! Today's post is gonna be a short one (mainly 'cause I was busy, procrastinated, what have you and just wrote this yesterday), but I'll make up for it next week! 😉 Either way, DON'T GO AWAY because I have some SUPER important news!!! First off, the lovely authoress Grace A. Johnson (you can find her blog  HERE ) is releasing a 9/11 short story called Daylight  in honor of the 20th anniversary of...well, 9/11.      So mark your calendars for September 11, 2021 for the release of this brand new exciting short story!        Secondly, for some...not-so-epic-news, as I said, my next post will hopefully be next week, but if you're subscribed to my blog you won't be getting an email notification since the Blogger subscription platform, Feedburner, is changing. I'm looking for some other options on how to send email notifications out (and hopefully I'll find one soon) but for now, if I don't find one before next week, you'll just ha

Guess what time it iiissss!!!! If you said it's time for another book review, then you are correct!       And THIS BOOK. *clutches heart* Guys, I know my last book review kind of turned into a persuasive essay situation, and I'm sorry, but this one might too. (Don't worry, I'll try to be more professionally review-ish with my next one.) 😉     So this book, as you can see, is the BELOVED, CARNEGIE-MEDAL WINNER, Ruby Holler (by Sharon Creech)!!!     I first read this baby when I was in a book club with another family a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away... It 'twas then, when I discovered a book I could NEVER, EVER get tired of and thus became one of my favorite comfort novels ever!       So what are we waiting for? Let's get this party started!!! 😃😃😃     SUMMARY (This is actually from Goodreads if you wanna check the book out there and add it to your TBR  ðŸ˜‡ðŸ˜œ):     Ruby Holler  is a Carnegie Medal-winning novel , and with its quirky protagonists

Yeah...I didn't really know how to phrase that right. XD This basically means that I have to pretend to be my future self writing a letter to my past/present self and ultimately murder my brain from the inevitable confusion.      Sounds fun, amiright?      Here are the rules (Also,  Gauri from  Brighter Alleys  invented this awesome tag if you wanna go back and read the original post!):      i) Appreciate the blogger who nominated you.       ii) Mention  Gauri@BrighterAlleys , creator of this letter tag.       iii) Answer the question, which is a task to write a letter.       iv) Now, nominate five bloggers who you think are worth it. Make sure they know that they are nominated.         Before we ge
